The national hospital Rikshospitalet in Oslo, Norway, was founded in 1826 and was merged with Radiumhospitalet in 2005 to become "Universitetssykehus Radiumhospitalet".

"Oslo Universitetssykehus" is now the largest hospital in Scandinavia as it combines two other university hospitals (Ullevålhospitalet and Akerhospitalet). Today, the project consists of the construction of two additional buildings and an extension of more than 140,000 m² of the Oslo University Hospitals. In order to ensure the safety of this large project, the tower cranes constructing these buildings will be equipped with AMCS Technologies' DCS 60 anticollision systems.

Indeed, the four COMANSA cranes on the site are equipped with DCS 60 to ensure the safety of the machines and the environment.

This system brings a great comfort of work. Its ease of use, installation and reliability make it the most used anti-collision system in the world.

The three key functions are zoning (to avoid forbidden zones of the jobsite and environment), anti-collision (to avoid the collision between the machines) and data Logger.

As the Radiumhospitalet is being developed into a specialized oncology hospital, the new production site will provide an additional clinical building and a proton building. The construction of these two buildings should be completed by the end of 2024.
