Brigade Electronics exhibited at Bauma 2019 the latest news on road safety. In addition to the exclusive White Sound bbs-tek, a directional and self-adjusting reversing and warning alarm, Brigade proposed the new generation of Backeye360, the innovative 360 panoramic vision system all around the vehicle that, through a sophisticated software, elaborates the pictures sent by 4 wide angle cameras (front, rear and sides) and reproduces them in real time in a single image on the screen, eliminating all blind spots.

Software customisation, view modes, menu items, configuration types are just some of the new features. The footage from the Backeye360, can now be recorded by the MDR, Brigade’s Mobile Digital Recorder, that provides an accurate witness and gives evidence in case of an accident.  MDR is an irrefutable proof against insurance claims such as ‘crash-for-cash’ scams and provides protection for drivers who may be wrongly accused. For the same reasons it can also save a lot of money to a fleet of vehicles.

Among the new devices, there were Backsense, the heavy-duty radar sensor systems designed to detect people and objects in blind spots, significantly reducing accidents. They detect stationary and moving objects, providing the driver with in-cab visual and audible warnings – alerting the operator whose attention cannot be focused on all danger areas. Backsense® obstacle detection sensors work effectively in harsh environments and in poor visibility including darkness, smoke and fog.
