In 2021, Dynapac completed the CC1400 tandem and combi roller range with the introduction of CC1300 VI/ CC1400 VI; this range spans a weight class from 2,4 to 4,3 tons with the CC1400 VI being the biggest in the range weighing at 4,3 tons.

There is a growing global market demand for smaller-sized rollers which are still powerful enough to follow small- or even medium-sized pavers. The CC1400 VI was created to ideally fit this important niche and offers an ideal combination of a 4,3-ton operating weight and 1380 mm drum width. What makes the CC1400 VI even more attractive is that it comes with optional features that are normally only found on larger-sized tandem rollers like dual amplitudes, dual-edge pressers, and a chip spreader. This makes it an ideal mix of high-performance, quality, and value for money results.

The CC1400 VI comes with a spacious and vibration-damped operator platform that offers more, lasting comfort even during long shifts. The addition of a new comfort seat is available with weight adjustment, armrests, and optional seat-heating. The ergonomic benefits are also seen in the forward and reverse levers that follow the sliding seat for heightened control and comfort. An optional dual forward and reverse lever offers operators more comfort and control during the compaction process. Thanks to a newly designed instrument panel with keypad buttons and an easy-to-read display showing the most important functions, operators are always in control and in tune with their surroundings. An optional canopy protecting the driver from varying weather conditions provides added comfort and is foldable for easy transportation. There is also a small storage box under the seat, as well as a cup/can holder. For night work operations, operators are aided by standard frame-mounted working lights for forwards and backward movement, plus optional ROPS-mounted LED lights for optimal visibility.

The CC1400 VI comes with an efficient static linear load of 15,1/16,1 (front/rear) kg/cm and provides excellent coverage with a 1380 mm compaction width. The standard setup consists of a single amplitude of 0,5 mm and optional dual amplitudes at 0,5/0,2 mm can be added. Another standard feature for the CC1400 VI is the adjustable offset function. Thanks to elongated holes for the bolts holding the articulated steering joint, operators can adjust the rear frame to the left to get an offset for the front drum of up to 50 mm. Offsetting the front drum makes it easier for operators to compact close to walls and curbs without risk of damage to the machine or the surrounding material. Optimal compaction is further aided by an optimal asphalt temperature meter that ensures the right temperature interval. Other optional features include a front right-mounted edge presser/edge cutter, or one for the dual front right and left, as well as an optional chip spreader. The CC1400 VI is also available in a combi-version with four rear static rubber wheels.

Water systems are crucial for all asphalt rollers which is why the CC1400 VI comes equipped with a powerful sprinkler system complete with an easy access sprinkler pump and filter located above the rear drum, as well as sprinkler bars including four sprinkler nozzles on each drum. Automatic Water Control (AWC) is standard, while a three-stage filtration system ensures clean water and prevents clogged sprinkler nozzles. The sprinkler timer helps operators save water by adjusting the sprinkler intervals thus reducing downtime for water refilling. The water tank can hold up to 298 liters thus reducing refilling time. Transportation from one site to another is fast and hassle-free thanks to the CC1400 VI’s casted forks that offer innovative, built-in possibilities for lifting, tying down, and towing. The ROPS are easy to fold for even more time-saving convenience.

Dynapac is continually raising the sustainability bar, which is why the CC1400 VI comes with the latest emission reduction technology that fulfills worldwide emission regulations while ensuring greater safety, comfort, and the well-being of people and their surroundings. The CC1400 VI comes with Dynapac's patented efficient eccentrics which provide optimal performance during the vibration start-up process. Its fuel-efficient Kubota diesel engines are especially efficient and offer maximum up-time. Dynapac additionally offers various engine alternatives to meet global emission regulations. For the North American market, we offer a 37 kW/50 hp T4f Kubota engine and a 37 kW/50 hp Stage V Kubota engine for the EU market. Both come with ECO mode and a DPF after-treatment system. For markets without T4f and Stage V emission legislation or ultra-low sulfur fuel, we offer a stage IIIA 35 kW/48 hp engine alternative. Biodegradable hydraulic oil is available as an option.

Thanks to its innovative design, the CC1400 VI offers excellent serviceability with easily accessible daily service points. The large engine hood can be fully opened to almost 90 degrees, thus offering ideal accessibility. It also comes equipped with a gas spring balance for easy opening and closing. The engine is cross-mounted for optimal serviceability and all major daily service points under the hood are easy to reach. All hydraulic hoses can quickly be accessed, as well as the sprinkler nozzles for the watering system. The sprinkler pump and filter are easily reached behind a cover above the rear drum.
