Fassi Group has acquired Forez-Bennes via its French holding CTELM.

In France, on 3 August 2023, Fassi Group acquired Forez-Bennes industrial bodyshop through the holding CTELM. This latest addition to the Group joins the other organisations already present in France and controlled by Fassi, i.e., Fassi France, Marrel (producer of the Ampliroll hooklifts) and the industrial bodyshops Miltra Paris Nord, Miltra Provence and Decauville.

The acquisition of the industrial bodyshop Forez-Bennes completes Fassi Group’s range in France offering the three main types of truck-mounted lifting systems: knuckle-boom cranes, tippers and hydraulic hooklifts. The aim of the operation is to foster the development of new opportunity to guarantee the success of a solid long-term group vision. The complementary nature of the products, combined with the know-how and competence of each company, will lead to true synergy from an industrial, logistic and commercial point of view.

“Each company will maintain its own identity, but this synergy will allow the skill and experience of each entity to be optimised. A number of organisational changes will allow them to concentrate 100% on their respective core businesses”, stated Giovanni Fassi, President of Fassi Group.

The commitment of the executive teams already present is a guarantee of success and continuity for the Group. Pierre-Jean Lafont will remain the CEO, and will be joining the new Fassi Group executive team in France alongside Benoît Boutonnet (the CEO of Fassi France) and Arnaud Thieulin (the CEO of Marrel). Forez-Bennes is a French company that has been designing, manufacturing and fitting truck tipper beds for more than 50 years. The production plant is located in Champdieu, in the Loire department.
