Oil & Steel has appointed GAM as the new Oil & Steel distributor for the Spanish market

GAM, founded in 2003, is a Spanish multinational distribution and rental company specializing in complete machinery management services. As a result of their expansion in the equipment and rental sector, GAM has continued to grow while expanding its international presence.

The company currently operates in 10 countries across four continents and is the leading machinery rental company in Spain and Portugal.

The company’s fleet consists of over 16,000 machines and in 2011, GAM, entered to the Top 15 Global Players according to “International Rental News”.

GAM already confirmed its first Oil & Steel platform order including units of the Snake 189 and Scorpion 1812. The Oil & Steel Snake 189 is an articulating boom truck mounted with a maximum working height 17.8 meters and a maximum outreach 9.2 meters with restricted platform capacity of 225kg. The Oil & Steel Scorpion 1812 is a telescopic boom aerial work platform providing a maximum working height of 17.8 meters and a maximum outreach of 12 meters with a restricted platform capacity of 80kg or 8.5 meters outreach with the maximum 225kg capacity.
