A brand new Tadano AC 3.055-1 all terrain crane was picked up at the Tadano facility in Lauf.
Managing Director Kurt Kölch had decided to pamper himself a bit: It was the year of his 50th work anniversary, so it only made sense to take delivery of the 50th crane in the history of his company – a brand new Tadano AC 3.055-1 all terrain crane that he picked up together with Co-Director Alexander Kölch at the Tadano facility in Lauf. The “anniversary gift” was handed over by Tadano Sales Manager Thomas Keckeis.
“With its 50-meter-long boom and the fact that it can travel with its full counterweight of six tonnes, the AC 3.055-1 is extremely fast and versatile, making it our crane of choice. We’ll be using it about the same amount for prefab home construction and machinery assembly projects inside factories – something that it’ll be able to take care of by itself and without the need for expensive or time-consuming additional transportation vehicles and travel permits,” Kurt Kölch says when enumerating the crucial advantages behind the crane as far as his company is concerned. “And with the IC‑1 Plus crane control system, including the IC‑1 Remote, it’s simply a cutting-edge piece of equipment, so it’s a perfect fit for our state-of-the-art fleet,” Alexander Kölch adds.
On top of that, both of them see their company’s proximity to the Tadano plant in Lauf as an important advantage: “Short distances are always great – especially when you have good personal access to the manufacturer,” both agree. It should come as no surprise then that the fleet run by the crane experts from Fürth not only features the new AC 3.055-1, but also an ATF 100G-4 and an ATF 200G-5.
