Twenty tracked platforms, model R180 and one tracked platform model R130 were delivered to the Italian Army.

Twenty tracked platforms, model R180 and one tracked platform model R130 were delivered to the Italian Army. The 20 R180s have been customized to best meet the Army's needs for working at height. Compared to the standard version, among the structural changes we find the turret rotation of 360°, the Scanreco wire control with a simplified interface display showing information on the use and safety parameters and an anti-crushing device which consists of 2 radars mounted under the basket.

As for the power engine, the Army chose the diesel engine, but even in this case it was a customization, as an electronic Hatz engine was fitted. The machines were also equipped with optional accessories such as the working light, the inclinometer and obviously the special military green painting. The R130 however, is a standard machine with diesel engine and optional accessories such as wire control and stabilizers self-levelling, always painted in the iconic military green. Training courses will soon be organized for Army operators who will use the machines and will need to be instructed on how to use them easily and safely.

Easy Lift is an official supplier of the intergovernmental military alliance NATO and of the MePA, the Italian Public Administration Electronic Marketplace, a virtual place for online purchases. The recent supplies confirm the Italian Armed Forces (not only the Army but also the Navy) trust in Easy Lift and its tracked platforms.
