Komatsu Europe recently launched a new range of backhoe loaders in line with EU Stage IV emission regulations. Scheduled to go on sale in September 2018, a new WB93R was showcased at Intermat 2018 in Paris. A second new backhoe loader will be introduced in the following months.
Based on the successful current machines, these improved EU Stage IV models provide increased efficiency and reduced fuel consumption without compromising performance or productivity. Versatility is key, and the new models offer benefits such as Komatsu’s Power Shift transmission and 4 Wheel Steering to customers. They also maintain Komatsu’s hallmark for unrivalled front visibility on backhoe loaders, thanks to a compact front bonnet and lateral position of the exhaust pipe.
Their extended service intervals, updated KOMTRAX technology and new 7’’ multi‐function monitor with fuel consumption indications will contribute to the optimisation of total cost of ownership. “This new series represents a perfect match between performance and efficiency”, says Alex Visentin, Product Manager at Komatsu Europe. “Keeping the exceptional visibility and exclusive design for the work equipment of previous models, our new backhoe loaders deliver high productivity and give special attention to the operator’s needs”.
With modern styling, first class comfort and high performance Komatsu technology, the new Komatsu backhoe loaders are sure to stand out wherever and whatever the job.
