Empire Crane adds three Demag All Terrain Cranes
On the heels of its massive order of 14 Demag all terrain cranes, Empire Crane continues to experience a high demand for Demag cranes throughout its Northeastern U.S. territory. The company has now ordered three new 3-axle Demag AC-60-3 all terrain cranes, which feature a class leading compact design and lifting performance.
According to the team at Empire Crane, the complete Demag all terrain crane product line has been well received by its customer base and other crane companies throughout the region. Versatility, maneuverability and innovation are a few of the words that Empire Crane customers use to describe the product line. The distributor has seen significant growth in smaller crane models including the Demag AC 45 City and AC 60-3 cranes.
The Demag AC 60-3 all terrain cranes have a 65 USt (60 t) rated operating capacity, feature a 164 ft (50 m) long main boom with a total system length of 216.5 ft (66 m) and an automated counterweight rigging system that makes setting up a jobsite fast and easy. The units also utilize a one engine concept that reduces operational and maintenances costs, and the IC-1 Plus control system that provides the cranes’ maximum allowable lifting capacity, based on slewing angle, for every crane configuration.
