Impressed with the new Demag 5-axle product line, Terex Cranes long-time distributor, Mobile
Impressed with the new Demag 5-axle product line, Terex Cranes long-time distributor, Mobile Cranes Asia (MCA) Pte Ltd., ordered three Demag AC 220-5 all terrain cranes. MCA took delivery of the first unit during a special handover ceremony held in conjunction with bauma China in Shanghai this past November. On hand for the event were MCA company officials and several members of the Terex Cranes Asia Team.
The debut of the new Demag AC 220-5 all terrain crane marks the first Demag crane delivery to Asia after the brand relaunch earlier in 2016. “Crane operators think highly of the Demag brand, and we’re excited to be able to offer it to our customers,” says Rodney Chang, President of MCA. “Customers expressed a lot of interest in the Demag product over the past several months leading up to the show. The Demag brand’s rebirth has gotten the attention from customers who want the highest quality and innovative equipment.”
The unveiling of the Demag AC 220-5 crane was led by Norbert Dudek, Vice President of Terex Cranes Asia who welcomed spectators and discussed the company’s plans for the Demag brand in the future. The Demag product range consists of 13 all terrain cranes, ranging from 55 to 1,200 tonnes of capacity and seven market leading lattice boom crawler cranes, ranging from 400 to 3,200 tonnes of capacity.
After the presentation, attendees were invited to see the Demag AC 220-5 all terrain crane for themselves. MCA received a lot of interest in the new Demag product line from current and potential customers, during and after the show.
