Terex Cranes is pleased to announce the appointment of Urcan Makina as official distributor to represent the full range of its rough terrain cranes for Turkey.
Urcan Makina has more than twenty years’ experience in providing crane sales, service and engineering, focused on mobile lifting equipment and their accessories. The company has a strong network across the Turkish region, to include well-known boat and industrial hoist and trailer manufacturers.
Orçun Urcan, Urcan Makina explains, “Urcan Makina is pleased to be appointed as the official distributor for Terex rough terrain cranes in Turkey. Terex is a very well-known brand in our market and its product range is a good complement to our existing core cranes business. We have strong industry experience and a team of skilled people and pride ourselves on the excellent service and aftermarket support we provide to our customers—this differentiates us in an increasingly competitive market. We believe that the addition of Terex Cranes to our line-up will be a great benefit to our customers and to our whole company.”
Stephan Wijkmans, Territory Manager for Terex Cranes said, “Urcan Makina has an excellent reputation within the cranes industry in Turkey. They match our requirements of having strong industry experience along with a trained and dedicated team committed to service and product support. We are delighted to welcome Urcan Makina to the Terex Cranes family and look forward to working together to be the leading supplier of rough terrain cranes in the Turkish market.”
Terex rough terrain cranes travel over the harshest terrain with ease. All are designed with excellent ground clearance and incorporate up to four steering modes to clear obstructions and manoeuvre in the most restricted jobsite conditions. Engine power and hydraulic output is matched to deliver quick boom speed and smooth, controlled lift. Terex rough terrain cranes are designed to maximize flexibility and uptime, and their durable construction and low cost of ownership ensures that they are an excellent choice for day-in-and-day-out lifting.
