CIFA will showcase its flagship truck-mounted pumps and mixer pumps at Hall 9 stand D7-E8.

CIFA – a leader in Europe in the concrete machinery sector – will participate in Samoter 2020, continuing its journey “driven by innovation”. Research, tenacity and passion have made CIFA an international benchmark, thanks to its technological records that simplify work in the construction site.

Since the last Samoter in 2017, CIFA has grown considerably in all sectors (economical-financial, commercial and industrial). As a matter of fact, our sales and market share in Europe have increased significantly. Currently, sales in the EU market cover about 60% of CIFA’s total sales. That’s why the goal for the next few years is to increase our presence worldwide”, said Marco Polastri, Sales, Aftersales and Marketing Director of CIFA.

To achieve these ambitious goals, the company is investing in several fronts. In fact, they are currently opening headquarters in the USA to serve the North American market and expanding the factory in Castiglione delle Stiviere (Mantova, Italy) to ensure higher productivity of truck mixers and mixer pump.

At Samoter 2020, at Hall 9 stand D7-E8, CIFA will showcase three state-of-the-art best-selling machines that meet the operating requirements of the construction site.

Carbotech K47H and Steeltech K42L truck-mounted pumps.

The K47H model, launched in 2018 to celebrate the company’s 90th anniversary, is currently the longest and lightest pump on the market and can be installed remaining in the European legal limit of 32 tonnes on 4 axles, thanks to the use of carbon on the last two sections of the boom. Its ease of use and flexibility are ensured by the patented technology of the boom made up of 5 sections with an RZ folding geometry and the Smartronic electronic management system. This software collects information to manage the vehicle’s functions simply and accurately. It also provides information on the machine status at all times and manages the pumping unit, pressure and speed of the motor autonomously to optimise performance. In the K47H model that will be on display, Smartronic advanced is equipped with the latest developments regarding safety and optimization of work on site, such as the anti-oscillation function and the automatic opening/closing of the boom. The K42L truck mounted pump, also on display, represents the Steeltech line, consisting of reliable and solid machines, but offering a complete customization to meet specific needs. The exposed model is equipped with HP1608EC closed circuit pumping unit with 160 cubic meters per hour of production and 80 bar maximum pressure on concrete. The management system of the machine is the Smartronic GOLD with ASC (Advanced Stability Control) stability control system, recognized as the best and most effective stability control system for truck mounted pumps.

MK28L-5” Truck mixer pump

For the range of truck mixer pumps, of which CIFA boasts the undisputed leadership since the invention of this type of machine back in 1974 and having given it a second birth in 2019 in its hybrid version (the first in the world), the MK28L-5 that will be on display at the stand is equipped with 5-inch piping instead of the usual 4”. This difference significantly reduces wear and tear on the concrete piping, making it suitable for medium sized castings and construction sites. The installed pumping unit, the PB808, is appreciated for its performance: up to 80 cubic metres/hour of production and up to 80 bar of pressure on the concrete make it possible to manage both quantitatively demanding castings and to operate with addittivated concrete that requires higher than standard pumping pressures.

CIFA is continuing to update each product line in order to respond better and better to the needs of construction sites, and has developed measures and options in this sense also for truck mixer pumps: in 2020 hopper covers are available to prevent concrete from spilling out of the hopper during road transport. The MK28L-5” on show will also have two other options that really make a difference in the practical use of the machine: the large aluminum hose holders on the sides and the concrete shut-off valve on the end hose.

On the electronic management systems front, the LSC (Light Stability Control) system that controls the correct stabilization of the pump is available in the advanced version that allows pumping in front of the cab even when the stabilizers cannot be opened completely.
